Born and raised in the Chico area, I know the local real estate market and every neighborhood and orchard in between.  Educated at Chico State I earned a B.A. and an M.A. in School Administration and Education.  An educator for 15 years, I have taught levels Kindergarten through Butte College.

I purchased my first investment property at age 23 and have been bitten by the real estate bug ever since.  I love, love, love Chico real estate.  As a teacher, I always believed and still do, that education is the way up and out of poverty and low income struggles.  As a realtor, the natural progression is once you're educated, it’s time to invest to keep your finances headed in that upward direction.  Whether buying an investment property or a home to live in, real estate is always a smart choice. 

Chico is predicted to grow by 100,000 people in the next 10 years.  It’s time to get going while the going is good.  These are the good ol’ days.  Which one of us is sorry our grandfathers purchased in the 1950’s!  None of us!  How many of your grandkids will say, “Gee, I wished grandma and grandpa hadn’t of bought that vacant land that McDonald’s now sits on back in the year 2008”?  None of them will! They’ll be too busy reaping the rewards of your smart investment. Real estate ownership is the American Dream and a smart investment for all of us! Interest rates are great and prices are down, now is the time to purchase in Chico.

I know where Chico is predicted to grow, and I know where the next Wal-Mart or shopping center is planned, where the next traffic light will turn a ho-hum corner into a gold-mine.  I live it and breathe it!  I know which neighborhoods will be getting a “face-lift”, city services, up grades and improvements which will give instant added monetary value to a property.  I know how and when to split residential lots, who to contact, contractors to use, and what to look for to find a lot that can be split.  I can find it for you!

That’s my job because that’s what I like to do.
